I’d love to see that photo of DFW with Ozick but I think it may not exist. Here is Ozick in a 2016 interview saying sbe had been surprised at being told “not long ago” that DFW had been a fan. I suppose it’s possible DFW may have been too shy to mention it at the time of the photo or that he learned to relish her work subsequent to the meeting in the photo. “A Story Made Purely of Feeling: The Millions Interviews Cynthia Ozick” by Eric Farwell June 26, 2016.
